New to Union Church?

Our community started as a campus of Gateway Church in Austin, TX. After three years of growth and development, and inspired by the Holy Spirit, our leadership began to explore a new path forward. During this time, Gateway Church faced the tough decision to consolidate its operations, reducing from five to three campuses.

Amidst these changes, our community in Pflugerville flourished—healthy financial stewardship and a growing sense of vision to pursue God’s flourishing together. Our pastor, Jon Eng, guided by prayer and discernment, was inspired to establish a new church.

As Union Church begins its journey as an independent church, , we are grateful for Gateway’s support and our shared legacy as we start anew. Located in one of Austin's most diverse regions, we aim to unite people from all cultures and backgrounds in a community where everyone can find belonging, experience Jesus, and impact the world positively.
